Rhine river on my Dragonfly Kayak.

    

In April 2010 after ending the winter season on the French Alps and with the need of been in Scandinavia not later than June I feel ready to try a new adventure in a totally different kind of terrain than the one of the snowy mountains of the Mont Blanc range.

For almost 3 years I have own a small Advance Elements Inflatable kayak , been small enough I have drag it with me every were I go been available to score some cool short trips in place like Colombia, Spain, Denmark and France.

 

 

Because of the small size of the Dragon fly, multiday trips on complete autonomy sounded impossible. Been introduce in later years to the light and fast Approach. I feel very curious to try the style on little expedition trip with the kayak.

The plan was simple been available to carry every think to be need for a couple of weeks of travel with the kayak, Camping gear and food. At the same time been available to pack the kayak and continue the trip with the public transportation on my way to Scandinavia

After a quick look on Google the Rhine river became my objective, close to the alps, long enough and ending in Rotterdam easy place to catch a train on direction nord.
